DOMITIAN was the younger son of Vespasian and brother of Titus. He is considered to be among the worst of all Roman emperors. A combination of personal depravity and superstitious fanaticism made his reign a disaster. Domitian became the revival of Nero?s excesses. He fiercely persecuted the Christians. His disgusting behavior was tolerated for many years until an assassination plot finally succeeded in killing him.
